About this place

We just purchased the cabin at the end of October and are excited to share it with you. The cabin provides the best of both worlds with the look and feel of a mountain cabin, yet it is complete with every modern amenity like Wi-Fi and smart TV. The house sits on over 1.5 acres of land that provides plenty of parking and privacy for larger groups. Once you visit, you will know why we call it Trail’s End.

The space

Our 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin is located 1 mile from Unicoi State Park and only 4 miles from Helen, Ga. The national forest boundary is literally just outside the door and provides excellent views of wildlife. The cabin provides the best of both worlds with the look and feel of a mountain cabin, yet it is complete with every modern amenity like Wi-Fi and Smart TV. The house sits on over 1.5 acres of land that provides plenty of parking and privacy for larger groups.

We have plenty of parking in the circular driveway for families with multiple cars. You will really enjoy the fire pit in the evenings located in the center of the driveway. It’s the perfect place to sit at night and roast marshmallows. The wood burning fireplace in the living room is great on cold winter evenings as well.

The property adjoins the national forest and affords you the chance to get some great views of the local wildlife. Deer can frequently be seen from the screened in porch in the morning when you are starting your day with a cup of coffee. Bears also frequent the area quite regularly. It is recommended that you do not leave trash unsecured outside and that you keep the gates locked to the deck. The bears will stay away from people, but usually can’t resist getting into unattended trash or food!
